SHANGHAI, Apr. 25 (SMM) – SHFE 1606 copper started last Friday night session at RMB 38,110/mt and closed the session at RMB 38,020/mt, gaining RMB 70/mt. Positions were up 1,270.
SHFE 1606 copper opened at RMB 37,990/mt on Monday and finished the day at RMB 38,120/mt, up RMB 170/mt or 0.45%. Positions fell 5,524. Positions for all SHFE copper contracts reduced 7,052 to 650,000 with trading volumes at 1.05 million lots. SHFE 1607 copper saw positions up 6,158.
SHFE 1606 copper should test support at RMB 38,000/mt this evening.
