MMG Copper Output Falls 8% YoY in Q1, with Lower Zinc Output

MMG’s refined copper output was 38,057 tonnes during the first three months of 2016, down 8% year-on-year, and 7% compared with Q4 2015, aastocks.com reports.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 21 (SMM) - MMG’s Q1 report says its refined copper output was 38,057 tonnes during the first three months of 2016, down 8% year-on-year, aastocks.com reports. 

Copper concentrate output was 35,515 tonnes in Q1, a growth of 337% year-on-year and up 124% on the quarterly basis.

Its zinc output was 46,044 tonnes, a drop of 64% year-on-year and 63% on the quarterly basis. Lead production was 8,004 tonnes, down 56% year-on-year and 56% from Q4 2015.
