China Announces Target for Important Metal Reserve Exploration in Five Years

The Ministry of Land&Resources announced its target for metal reserve discovery in the 13th Five-Year Plan period, according to zgkyb.com.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 21 (SMM) - The Ministry of Land&Resources announced its target for metal reserve discovery in the 13th Five-Year Plan period, according to zgkyb.com.

China aims to discover 300-400 large and medium mining areas in five years. Important mineral resources are also expected to be found, including 8 million tonnes of copper, 600 million tonnes of bauxite, 20 million tonnes of lead, 30 million tonnes of zinc and 3,000 tonnes of gold reserves.
