North American copper scrap prices gain

The North American copper scrap prices climbed higher marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index as on April 12th, Tuesday.

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices climbed higher marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on April 12th, Tuesday.

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose marginally by $0.04 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.04 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.04 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were up by $0.01 per Lb over the day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were up by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices went higher by $0.04 per Lb to touch $1.73 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap were up by $0.02 per Lb from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too witnessed no change from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe increased by $0.01 per Lb and $0.03 per Lb respectively on April 12th, 2016.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices went higher by $0.01 per Lb over the day.

Heater cores and Romex Wire prices were up by $0.01 per Lb each.

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors and Starters maintained previous day price levels.

Sealed Units and Xmas Lights prices were up by $0.01 per Lb and $0.02 per Lb respectively.
