Baosteel Group announced to increase ex-works prices of main steel products for May, SMM learns.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 12 (SMM) - Baosteel Group announced to increase ex-works prices of main steel products for May, SMM learns.

China Iron Ore Prices to Hold High, SMM Predicts

Prices were up 150 yuan per tonne for hot-rolled, hot-rolled pickled products, common cold-rolled products, electro-galvanized products, hot-Galvanized products and galvanized Zn-Al products. Prices were also up 300 yuan per tonne for coated products, galvanized Zn-Al color-coated products and electrical steel, according to its announcement.

This adjustment excludes preferential rate.

Earlier, Angang Steel Co. also decided to raises its steel ex-works prices for May.
