Chaowei Power Starts Construction of New Energy Vehicle Project

Chaowei Group held a cornerstone laying ceremony for the construction of its JV Zhejiang Pulangte Electric Vehicles on April 10.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 11 (SMM) – Chaowei Power held a cornerstone laying ceremony for the construction of its JV Zhejiang Pulangte Electric Vehicles on April 10, toutiao.com reported.

The ceremony marked a substantial step for Chaowei Group in manufacturing new energy vehicles.

Total investment for the JV is scheduled to be 3.5 billion yuan ($ 0.54 billion) with registered capitals of 150 million yuan. The JV will have an annual capacity of 100,000 units of electric vehicles after being completed construction.
