SHANGHAI, Apr. 8 (SMM) – Chinese authorities have asked the country’s six large rare earth groups to conduct commercial stockpiles of rare earths, cre.net reported.
The National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC) and relevant departments summoned six large rare earth groups together on March 30 to discuss matters concerning commercial stockpiles of rare earths. The meeting has clarified principles, supporting measures, operations mode, as well as detailed program for commercial stockpiles.
This move is of great importance for improving national strategic reserves and promoting sustainable and healthy development of the industry.
