China Includes Rare Earth Imports in Blacklist against North Korea

China has imposed a ban on imports of certain commodities from North Korea in accordance with a United Nations Security Council resolution passed last month.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 7 (SMM) – China has imposed a ban on imports of certain commodities from North Korea in accordance with a United Nations Security Council resolution passed last month, the Ministry of Commerce announced on its website on April 5. 

The ban will cover rare earth (HS Code 2530902000), titanium ore (HS Code 2614000000),vanadium ore (HS Code 2615909090), among other commodities.
