SHFE 1605 tin climbed to RMB 105,720/mt after opening at RMB 104,710/mt during Tuesday’s night session, and closed at RMB 105,320/mt.
SHANGHAI, Apr. 6 (SMM) –SHFE 1605 tin climbed to RMB 105,720/mt after opening at RMB 104,710/mt during Tuesday’s night session, and closed at RMB 105,320/mt. SHFE 1605 tin drifted higher on short covering after starting at RMB 105,530/mt on Wednesday, but failed to break through the 40-day moving average. Finally, the most active contract ended up RMB 680/mt or 0.65% at RMB 106,040/mt. Trading volumes were up 9,382 lots to 27,906 lots, and positions were down 796 to 15,694. SHFE 1605 tin looks set to challenge resistance at RMB 108,000/mt.
