SHANGHAI, Apr. 5 (SMM) –More alumina producers in China will join recent capacity restart wave on improved profitability, SMM expects.

Alumina capacity restarts in China have amounted to 2.8 million-tpy over the past more than one month, SMM statistics showed.

Besides, China will see about 1.8 million-tpy new alumina capacity come on stream in the near future, according to SMM survey.
