SHANGHAI, Mar. 25 (SMM) – China’s manganese ore imports fell in February 2016, with South Africa still the top supplier.
Customs data showed China imported just 921,885 tonnes of manganese ore in February, down from 1.08 million tonnes in January.
Imports from South Africa were 373,968 tonnes in February, down from 378,537 tonnes in previous month. Imports from Australia, the second largest supplier, were 255,078 tonnes, also down from 327,782 tonnes a month ago.
