SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,385/mt Wednesday evening, and closed at RMB 14,250/mt, down RMB 175/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 24 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,385/mt Wednesday evening, and closed at RMB 14,250/mt, down RMB 175/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1605 zinc were 201,000 lots, and positions decreased 6,050 to 145,000 lots.

SHFE 1605 zinc reached RMB 14,300/mt but fell back with falling stocks and iron ore, and closed at RMB 14,200/mt, down RMB 225/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1605 zinc grew 43,000 to 336,000 lots, and positions decreased 14,000 to 137,000.
