SHANGHAI, Mar. 21 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,460/mt last Friday evening, and closed at RMB 14,385/mt, up RMB 5/mt. Trading volumes and positions were largely unchanged.
SHFE 1605 zinc surged to RMB 14,560/mt after opening today, and followed ferrous metals down in the afternoon, and closed at RMB 14,400/mt, up RMB 20/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1605 zinc fell 166,000 to 448,000 lots, and positions decreased 3,802 to 166,000 lots.
