SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,185/mt on Thursday evening, and closed at RMB 14,480/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 18 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,185/mt on Thursday evening, and closed at RMB 14,480/mt. Trading volumes were only 308,000 lots, with positions up 16,000 to 176,000.

SHFE 1605 zinc reached RMB 14,595/mt today, and closed at RMB 14,405/mt, up RMB 345/mt or 1.72%. Trading volumes of SHFE 1605 zinc grew 214,000 to 614,000 lots, and positions increased 11,000 to 170,000 lots.
