SHFE 1605 copper started at RMB 37,870/mt overnight and moved higher to RMB 38,340/mt, to end at RMB 38,230/mt.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 18 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 copper started at RMB 37,870/mt overnight and moved higher to RMB 38,340/mt, to end at RMB 38,230/mt, up RMB 510/mt. Positions increased 8,194.

SHFE copper opened at RMB 38,280/mt on Friday and once grew to RMB 38,500/mt, to close at RMB 38,380/mt, up RMB 660/mt or 1.75%. Positions were up 14,174 and those for SHFE 1606 and 1607 copper were up 14,190.

SHFE 1605 nickel will face pressure at RMB 39,400/mt tonight.
