SHFE Nickel Edges Up 0.03% (Mar. 14, 2016)

SHANGHAI, Mar. 14(SMM) – SHFE 1605 nickel opened at RMB 69,260/mt for night trading last Friday and finished the session at RMB 69,520/mt.

The May-delivery nickel on SHFE opened Monday trading session at RMB 69,450/mt and sank to RMB 68,900/mt. But the contract later bounced back above RMB 70,000/mt and ended the session at RMB 69,310/mt, gaining slightly by 0.03%. Trading volumes fell 73,060 to 744,000 lots while positions were up 3,986 to 403,000.
