Prices for both galvanizing slag and die-cast zinc slag held relatively firm despite falling zinc prices, SMM data show.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 11 (SMM) – Prices for both galvanizing slag and die-cast zinc slag held relatively firm despite falling zinc prices, SMM data show.

Prices for low-lead galvanizing slag (95%) in Hebei were 10,700-11,200 yuan per tonne (excluding tax, ex-works). SMM #0 zinc prices fell 250 yuan per tonne as of Friday. Trading for zinc slag was lackluster, however.
