North American copper scrap prices rise marginally on 9th Mar, 2016

The North American copper scrap prices edged higher slightly on March 9th, Wednesday.

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices climbed higher marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on March 9th, Wednesday.

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.02 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright went higher by $ 0.02 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were up by $0.01 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too increased by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices went higher by $0.02 per Lb to reach $1.77 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap witnessed no change from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too reported no change from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe saw marginal rise of $0.01 per Lb on March 9th, 2016.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices remained flat over the day.

Heater cores were up by $0.01 per Lb when matched with the previous day.

The prices of Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights maintained previous day price levels.
