Chinese Aluminum Scrap prices rise on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese Aluminum scrap prices increased marginally on the Scrap Monster Price Index on Feb 19th, Friday.

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day. Aluminum Radiators and Transformers prices increased by CNY 50 per MT each. E.C Aluminum Wire prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT to touch CNY 10,900 per MT. Old Cast prices too appreciated by CNY 50 per MT. The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Old Sheet saw marginal rise of CNY 50 per MT each. UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices too increased by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.

Meanwhile, Brass Radiator prices too registered marginal rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day. Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT each.

Stainless steel scrap prices remained flat on the Index.

201 SS prices held steady at CNY 3,000 per MT.

The prices of 304 SS Solid, 304 SS Turning and 309 SS remained unchanged.

310 SS prices remained flat on Feb 19th, 2016.

316 SS Solid and Shred SS prices too remained unchanged on the Index.
