Prices for Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 climbed 272 yuan to 14,360-14,640 yuan per tonne and 14660-14940 yuan per tonne, respectively, last week, according to SMM.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 22 (SMM) - Prices for Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 climbed 272 yuan to 14,360-14,640 yuan per tonne and 14,660-14,940 yuan per tonne, respectively, last week, according to SMM.

Demand was soft, especially from garment and bathroom accessory sectors. Production was also constrained as some end-users remained closed.

SMM understands some producers returned to normal production thanks to brisk orders from auto parts sectors, and replenished some stocks.
