Trading Cools in China Secondary Lead Market with High Price Offers

Trading activities are sluggish in Chinese secondary lead market after Chinese New Year holiday.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 18 (SMM) – Trading activities are sluggish in Chinese secondary lead market after Chinese New Year holiday with price offers as high as 11,800-12,000 yuan per tonne (excluding tax).

Mainstream traded prices are at 11,800-11,850 yuan per tonne in market SMM learns. Secondary lead producers are unwilling to sell at lows while downstream buyers hold a wait-and-see posture, leaving few transactions done.
