SHANGHAI, Feb. 18 (SMM) – Spot lead in China is predicted to drop to RMB 13,750-13,850/mt on Thursday.

Cargo holders rush to sell and hold offers firm while most downstream buyers have not entered market, leaving trading to be sluggish.

Markets expect China’s PPI and CPI for January to be slightly better than December’ figures. LME lead heads for losses but finds support at the 20-day moving average and should range USD 1,740-1,775/mt during Asian trading hours today. SHFE 1604 lead should hover between RMB 13,370-13,570/mt today.
