SHANGHAI, Feb. 17 (SMM) – Shanxi Province, one of China’s major alumina producing regions, discovered vast bauxite resources in 2015, cnmn.com reported, citing local Ministry of Land & Resources.

The province discovered 30 million tonnes of bauxite resources during 2015, bringing total discovery of the aluminum smelting mineral resources to 324 million tonnes during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the media added.
