SHANGHAI, Feb. 15 (SMM) –Rusal expects 12.5 million tonnes of alumina capacity to be closed worldwide this year, Wenhua.com reported, citing an executive from Rusal.
Rusal's own modernization program, however, will increase its alumina capacity by about 430,000 tonnes when it is complete by May or June, Yakov Itskov, director of Rusal’s alumina division, was quoted by Wenhua.com as saying.
