SHANGHAI, Feb. 6 (SMM) –China Zhongwang Holdings, China’s top aluminum extrusion producer, sees great potential for automotive aluminum market, china.com.cn reported.
Aluminum applications in automobiles will focus on three areas, namely car body, car door, car parts, Zhongwang’s managing director was quoted as saying.
Survey by one international authority showed that a 100 kg reduction in vehicle weight could save fuel consumption by 0.3-0.6 liters per 100 km.
