China Zinc Slag Prices Post Increases

Prices of hot-galvanizing slag (95%) in Tianjin, Shandong and Hebei rose 500-600 yuan this past week.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 29 (SMM) - Prices of hot-galvanizing slag (95%) in Tianjin, Shandong and Hebei rose 500-600 yuan per tonne this past week, after zinc prices climbed 700 yuan per tonne, according to SMM data.

Trading of zinc slag was extremely light due to soft demand and suspension of warehousing and logistics business.

Prices of indirect zinc oxide were 13,300-14,300 yuan per tonne this week, with consumption sluggish.
