The average price for Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 rose 170 yuan to 13,630-13,930 yuan per tonne and 13,930-14,230 yuan per tonne.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 1 (SMM) - The average price for Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 rose 170 yuan to 13,630-13,930 yuan per tonne and 13,930-14,230 yuan per tonne, respectively, last week, according to SMM.

SMM understands most downstream buyers have completed stockpiling and suspended production for the Chinese New Year holiday, muting trading.

Most die-cast zinc alloy producers were busy with payment collection and unwilling to purchase raw materials. In this context, trading should be very sloppy this week, SMM says.
