SMM survey finds about 80% scrap battery traders plan to resume operation until after the Lantern Festival on February 22.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 31 (SMM) - SMM survey finds about 80% scrap battery traders plan to resume operation until after the Lantern Festival on February 22, 15% will restart on February 15, and 5% are not sure when they will reopen.

China’s scrap battery market is not very dull recently. Most scrap battery traders in East China have suspended operation against thin profit and strict environmental protection requirements, SMM understands.
