China Guizhou Discovers Asia’s Largest Manganese Ore Deposit

Guizhou Geological Bureau discovered three super large manganese ore deposits in the mountain that connects Songtao County and Jiangkou County in 2015, local media reported.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 27 (SMM) – Guizhou Geological Bureau discovered three super large manganese ore deposits in the mountain that connects Songtao County and Jiangkou County in 2015, local media reported. 

Proven manganese ore resources total 192 million tonnes at these three deposits, ranking the first in Asia, the media added.
