An SMM survey of 20 Chinese copper tube/pipe producers finds 40% of them are pessimistic toward copper prices.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 18 (SMM) - An SMM survey of 20 Chinese copper tube/pipe producers finds 40% of them are pessimistic toward copper prices. They expect recent rebound will be short-lived, and prices will return to downward track due to lack of substantially positive news. Some are bearish toward copper in the first quarter.

The remaining 30% are either neutral or uncertain of copper price trends.
