Prices of indirect zinc oxide fell 200 yuan to 12,900-13,500 yuan per tonne this week, according to SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 15 (SMM) - Prices of indirect zinc oxide fell 200 yuan to 12,900-13,500 yuan per tonne this week, according to SMM data.

Some zinc oxide producers built stocks as zinc prices fall. SMM understands demand from electronics and pharmaceutical sectors was stable, while that from ceramic-grade zinc oxide remained soft.

Prices of hot galvanizing slag were 10,300-11,000 yuan per tonne in Tianjin, Shandong and Hebei.
