TCs for imported lead concentrate (Pb 60%, Ag < 1,000 g) registered a small decline to $ 150-160 per dry metric tonne in China this week in spite of widening profits, according to SMM news.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 15 (SMM) – TCs for imported lead concentrate (Pb 60%, Ag < 1,000 g) registered a small decline to $ 150-160 per dry metric tonne in China this week in spite of widening profits, according to SMM news.

Profits for imported materials expanded by 270 yuan per tonne (Pb content) to 550 yuan per tonne (Pb content) above Chinese 50% concentrate this week.

TCs for Chinese concentrate were steady at 2,500-2,800 yuan per tonne (Pb content). Concentrate supply was sufficient in Guangxi and local mines reported poor sales in concentrate.

Market is turning more anemic in China as the 2016 Chinese New Year draws near and as such, TCs for domestic concentrate are forecast to stabilize in near future.
