Nine polluting companies in Qinghai, including Qinghai Zhufeng Zinc Industry Co., were recently required to shut down by Environmental Protection Office and Xining Municipal Environmental Protection B

SHANGHAI, Jan. 14 (SMM) - Nine polluting companies in Qinghai, including Qinghai Zhufeng Zinc Industry Co., were recently required to shut down by Environmental Protection Office and Xining Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, citing failure to meet environmental protection requirements, qhnews.com reports.

Another eight medium and large producers in Qinghai’s Xining City were also forced to close for rectification in a certain period, including Western Mining Group’s zinc subsidiary.
