Tagal, POSCO Push Galvanized Plate Projects in Chongqing

Chongqing has ramped up efforts pushing construction of galvanized plate projects recently, and aims to materialize output value of 280 billion yuan in 2016.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 14 (SMM) - Chongqing has ramped up efforts pushing construction of galvanized plate projects recently, and aims to materialize output value of 280 billion yuan in 2016.

Tagal put into production a high-strength galvanized automobile plate project with designed capacity of 450,000 tpy in September 2015. Chongqing Iron & Steel also signed a contract with POSCO in August 2015 on a 2.40 million-tpy high-end cold rolled galvanized plate project which services automobile and home appliance sectors.
