Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum prices declined 12th Jan, 2016

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Tuesday, 12th January, 2016 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 8.71 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 11.17 and $ 13.63 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 5.58 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 15.31 per Oz to reach $ 621.94 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $11.42 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.08 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 8.24 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 10.56 and $ 12.90 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 5.28 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 15.31 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.06 per Oz.
