SHANGHAI, Jan. 11 (SMM) - The average prices of Zamark#3 and Zamark#5 fell nearly 100 yuan to 13,810-14,200 yuan per tonne and 14,110-14,500 yuan per tonne, respectively last week, weighed down by zinc prices.
Some small alloy producers in Guangdong and Zhejiang, which will suspend production in mid-January due to the Chinese New Year holiday replenished stocks at lows, SMM reports.
Orders from auto parts and electronics sectors were strong, while those from luggage, costume and bathroom accessories sectors were slow.
