SHANGHAI, Jan. 11 (SMM) - An SMM survey of 20 Chinese copper wire rod producers finds that 20% expect orders to increase in January. Some large producers in Jiangsu and Anhui reported improving production at local wire&cable plants.
Some 20% see orders fall in January due to the off-season, and 60% expect orders to stay stable, which are mostly medium and large producers. They base their opinion on active production at large wire&cable producers thanks to orders from the State Grid.
