Nickel Ore Inventories at China Six Major Ports down 150,000 tonnes

Nickel ore inventories at six major Chinese ports were 9.82 million tonnes last week, according to SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 11 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at six major Chinese ports were 9.82 million tonnes last week, according to SMM data.

The fall in ore inventories at ports, down 150,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, is due mainly to falling arrivals of goods and pick-ups by domestic NPI producers, SMM explains.  

Last week, two ships carrying nickel ore at domestic major ports, and with four new ships expected this week.
