SHANGHAI, Jan. 11 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at six major Chinese ports were 9.82 million tonnes last week, according to SMM data.
The fall in ore inventories at ports, down 150,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, is due mainly to falling arrivals of goods and pick-ups by domestic NPI producers, SMM explains.
Last week, two ships carrying nickel ore at domestic major ports, and with four new ships expected this week.
