SHANGHAI, Jan. 4 (SMM) - The average prices of Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 rose 270 yuan to 13,790-14,200 yuan per tonne and 14,090-14,500 yuan per tonne, respectively, last week.

Die-cast zinc alloy producers received stable orders from automobile and electronics parts sectors. Most of them purchased raw materials as needed, in the face of rising zinc prices. Only a few producers hoarded inventories due to the approaching of China’s New Year holiday.
