SHFE 1605 aluminum dipped to RMB 10,565/mt after opening at RMB 10,595/mt on Tuesday, due to exit of longs.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 29 (SMM) –SHFE 1605 aluminum dipped to RMB 10,565/mt after opening at RMB 10,595/mt on Tuesday, due to exit of longs. But the most active contract then rebounded to RMB 10,720/mt on short covering, and finally ended at RMB 10,705/mt, with positions down 13,872 to 248,000. Total positions of all SHFE aluminum contracts were down 42,682 to 733,966.
