SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,140/mt last Friday evening, then rose and closed the day at RMB 13,175/mt, up RMB 100/mt.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 28 (SMM) – SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,140/mt last Friday evening, then rose and closed the day at RMB 13,175/mt, up RMB 100/mt. Trading volumes on SHFE 1602 zinc contracts were 62,000 lots.

SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,175/mt on Monday, then stabilized at RMB 13,060/mt. The Shanghai Composite Index plunged, weighing down SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices to slump in the afternoon. SHFE 1602 zinc closed the day at RMB 12,930/mt, down RMB 145/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1602 zinc contracts decreased 28,000 to 375,000 lots, with total positions down over 20,000 to 152,000.
