SHANGHAI, Dec. 28 (SMM) – China’s automotive aluminum consumption got a strong boost from the country’s booming automobile market in November, cnal.com reported.
China’s automotive aluminum use was 325,000 tonnes in November, up 16.2% from October and 17.8% from a year ago, cnal.com quoted data from SCI99. This marks a second straight month of positive growth. And, the country’s automotive aluminum use grew 1.8% year-on-year to 2.78 million tonnes during the first eleven months of the year, SCI99 data showed.
The amazing recovery of automobile market was driven mainly by policy incentive, promotions near year-end and Single’s Day on November 11, which has evolved into the shopping spree day in recent years.
Automobile market will continue recovering in December.
