SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 12,830/mt Monday evening, then reached RMB 12,955/mt, but fell to RMB 12,870/mt.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 22 (SMM) – SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 12,830/mt Monday evening, then reached RMB 12,955/mt, but fell to RMB 12,870/mt, and closing the day at RMB 12,855/mt, up RMB 130/mt. Trading volumes on SHFE 1602 zinc contracts were 248,000 lots, and total positions were 187,000.

SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 12,855/mt on Tuesday, then inched lower to RMB 12,800/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1602 zinc hovered around RMB 12,800/mt and closed the day at RMB 12,815/mt, up RMB 90/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1602 zinc contracts decreased nearly 80,000 to 439,000 lots, with total positions down 5,084 to 181,000.
