China Aluminum Alloy Wheel Exports Down in October in Both Volume and Value

China reported a decline in both volume and value of its aluminum alloy wheel exports in October, askci.com reported.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 16 (SMM) – China reported a decline in both volume and value of its aluminum alloy wheel exports in October, askci.com reported. 

Export quantity fell 2.8% year-on-year (YoY) to 69,500 tonnes in October, and export value also dropped 7.3% YoY to $329 million, the media said. 

Outbound shipment totaled 660,500 tonnes during the first ten months of the year, up just 0.1% from a year ago.  

The US was the top export destination –51.98% of China’s export value – during January-October, followed by Japan and Mexico.
