SHFE 1601 nickel started at RMB 68,630/mt for night trading last Friday and ended the session at RMB 68,240/mt.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 14 (SMM) – SHFE 1601 nickel started at RMB 68,630/mt for night trading last Friday and ended the session at RMB 68,240/mt.

The most actively-traded contract opened at RMB 68,360/mt for day trading Monday and closed the day at RMB 68,750/mt, edging down 0.41%. Trading volumes reduced 38,786 to 687,000 lots and positions fell 13,256 to 245,000. Positions for HSFE 1601 nickel were less than those for SHFE 1605 nickel with trading volumes higher than latter.

LME nickel stays weak and SHFE 1601 nickel will fall to the 5-day moving average tonight.
