Nickel ore inventories at six major Chinese ports were 9.92 million tonnes last week, up 50,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, according to SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 14 (SMM) - Nickel ore inventories at six major Chinese ports were 9.92 million tonnes last week, up 50,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, according to SMM data.

SMM attributes the rise in stocks to large arrivals of ore shipments and few pick-ups from north China ports and the Port of Lianyungang.

Last week, four ships arrived at major domestic nickel ore ports.
