China Not Adjusts Nickel Import and Export Tax in 2016

China announced Dec. 9 to leave import and export duties unchanged for nickel products next year, according to the Tariff Adjustment Plan for 2016.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 11 (SMM) - China announced Dec. 9 to leave import and export duties unchanged for nickel products next year, according to the Tariff Adjustment Plan for 2016.

The plan, recently passed by China’s Customs Tariff Commission of China’s State Council, will come into effect Jan. 1, 2016.

In accordance with the plan, the provisional export duty for nickel ores and concentrates (HS code: 26040000) and NPI (HS code: 72026000) is unchanged at 15% and 20%, respectively in 2016.
