China Leaves Import and Export Tariff Unchanged for Lead and Zinc Ore in 2016

China leaves import and export tax of lead and zinc ore unchanged next year, according to the Tariff Adjustment Plan in 2016 recently, effective January 1 2016.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 11 (SMM) - China leaves import and export tax of lead and zinc ore unchanged next year, according to the Tariff Adjustment Plan in 2016 passed recently, effective January 1 2016.

Export tax rate for lead ore and concentrate (HS code: 26070000) remains at 30%, and that for zinc ore and concentrate (HS code: 26080000, excluding gray fodder zinc oxide with zinc content above 80%) is also unchanged at 30%. Provisional tax rate for other lead contained slag (HS code: 26202900) stabilizes at 10%. No import tax is imposed on lead ore and its concentrate or zinc ore and its concentrate.
