SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 12,490/mt Tuesday evening, and dipped to RMB 12,430/mt, but found support from RMB 12,500/mt, and closed the day at RMB 12,625/mt, down RMB 25/mt.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 9 (SMM) – SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 12,490/mt Tuesday evening, and dipped to RMB 12,430/mt, but found support from RMB 12,500/mt, and closed the day at RMB 12,625/mt, down RMB 25/mt. Trading volumes on SHFE 1602 zinc contracts were 349,000 lots, and total positions increased 4,424 to 225,000.

SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 12,625/mt on Wednesday, then hovered around RMB 12,600/mt, with the high-end of RMB 12,670/mt, and closed the day at RMB 12,650/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1602 zinc contracts decreased 39,000 to 601,000 lots, with total positions up 7,964 to 229,000.
